Redmi will launch the Redmi K50 series on March 17th. This phone will be launched alongside a number of new devices including the Redmi Book Pro.
This morning, Redmi officially announced that the Redmi K50 will come with a larger 5000mAh battery and also support 120W charging.
In another post, the company also mentioned that the battery can be fully charged in just 19 minutes, thanks to Climbing Technology.
It is worth mentioning that this 120W charging solution utilizes its self-developed Pangbai P1 charging chip and advanced 4:1 charging pump in a new generation of single-cell solution, through which this level of fast charging can be achieved. In addition, a deeper look at the launch poster also reveals that the device will come with a Type-C port.
According to previous news, the Redmi K50 series will come in three versions: K50, K50 Pro, and K50 Pro+. The K50 Pro+ will be powered by the Dimensity 9000 and will feature a Samsung 2K AMOLED flexible display.
In addition, the other two models will feature the Dimensity 8100 (in K50 Pro) and Snapdragon 870 (in K50). However, the display or any other significant specifications of both devices are not confirmed at the moment.
