Not long ago, Intel announced the all-new 12th-generation Core CPU, and now every laptop manufacturer is upgrading its models to the latest Intel chipsets. According to the latest news, Redmi is also not behind this race. The company is also looking forward to upgrading its laptops.
This morning, Redmi announced that the company will launch the RedmiBook Pro 2022 on March 17. In the official launch announcement, the company said: “This time, the RedmiBook Pro is positioned to be upgraded, to challenge the peak performance of thin and light notebooks for your reckless love, and to create a ruthless character with soaring combat power, whose performance is beyond imagination.” From this, we can expect a considerable upgrade in RedmiBook in terms of being lightweight, thin, and more powerful.
It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, the RedmiBook Pro 2022 was also listed on Geekbench 5. The listing revealed that the notebook is powered by the latest 12th-generation Intel Core i7-12650H Processor.
The chipset features 10 cores (six performance cores and four energy-efficient cores) and 16 threads, with a boost frequency up to 4.7GHz. Its primary power consumption is 45W, the L3 cache is 24 MB, and the core GPU is 64EU 1.4GHz.
The notebook scored 1800 points on Single-Core and 11872 points on Multi-Core (in the Geekbench listing), a massive improvement compared with last year’s Intel Core 11th-Gen CPUs.
The officials haven’t revealed anything regarding the appearance and specifications of the RedmiBook Pro 2022.
