The new foldable device from the Chinese foldable display manufacturer Royole has been spotted on TENAA certification. The device will be the successor to Royole FlexPai 1 and will be named Royole FlexPai 2.
In the certification, the phone features a 7.8-inch foldable AMOLED display with a 1920×1080 resolution. The display has a 16M Color depth, while the refresh rate may also be improved. The foldable phone measures about 186.2×133.8×6.5 mm and weighs around 340g.
The phone would be powered by the standard Snapdragon 865G, as the maximum frequency of chipset mentioned in certification and SD 865G are the same. It will be available in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants with 256GB and 512GB of storage. The battery capacity is 4450mAh with fast charging support. However, the charging speed is not mentioned.
The phone consists of a quad camera setup arranged vertically on the left of the display. The quad-camera setup includes 64MP+8MP+2MP+32MP sensors. However, the fourth sensor (32MP) will be used only to take selfies, as the 32MP sensor is mentioned separately. The phone would also support optical zoom up to 3 times.
The phone also has a side fingerprint scanner in the lock screen button. It will be available in three different color varieties: Magic Gold, Dark Night Black, and Star Grey. The phone mentioned in the renders is in the Dark Night Black color.
The company’s official Weibo account confirms that this foldable phone will be available on September 22.
