The next expected lineup launch from Samsung is definitely its Galaxy A series 2023. There are already leaks and rumors regarding the upcoming devices on the internet these days. However, today, we looked at a huge leak that will solve almost every question about the upcoming A series devices.
This morning, the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G were listed on the Google Play Console, revealing the official renders of the devices and some basic specifications.
The Galaxy A34 5G features a U-shaped notch display that supports 2340 x 1080 resolution and 450 PPI screen density. The smartphone comes with the MediaTek MT6877V/TTZA chipset, which is the codename for the Dimensity 1080 chipset.
The chipset features two Cortex-A78 cores at 2.5GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. The GPU is a 4-core ARM-Mali G68. The device has 6GB RAM and runs the latest Android 13 OS.
In renders of the Galaxy A34 5G, it can be seen that it features a vertical camera layout, just like we have seen in the Galaxy S23 lineup. The total number of cameras is three (expected 48MP+8MP+2MP, according to the source), along with a small LED flash.
Next, we have Galaxy A54 5G, which features a single-centered punch-hole display with the exact Full-HD+ resolution and screen density rate. However, the chipset is different here. The Galaxy A54 5G will feature the Exynos 1380, which has the codename Samsung s5e8835.
The chipset is based on a 5nm EUV manufacturing process and consists of the following cores: 4x Cortex-A78 at 2.4GHz and 4x Cortex-A55cores at 2.0GHz. The GPU is a 5-core Mali-G68. In addition, the Galaxy A54 5G also has 6GB RAM and runs the latest Android 13 OS.
The Galaxy A54 5G also has the same back design as the Galaxy A34 5G. However, the camera specifications are expected to be a bit different. The main lens is expected to be a 50-megapixel lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens.
At the moment, Samsung is expected to reveal its Galaxy A series 2023 at March 2023’s UNPACKED event.
