Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds X Got FCC Certifications

The upcoming Galaxy Note20 series is set to be launched on 5 August. There are many devices that are expected to launch in the same event. However, some devices like the Galaxy Tab S7 series and Galaxy Fold series are scheduled to be launched later on 22 August.

New Galaxy Buds Certification

Recently, we got some leaks, and it seems like Samsung is likely to launch another product at the Galaxy Note20 launch event. The product is Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 2 (maybe Buds X). The product got its FCC Certification today. It has model numbers SM-R180R and SM-R180L; the first R (in the model number) points to us that this can be a new model Galaxy Buds.

Moreover, the certification also mentions that it is a Bluetooth headset that is equipped with a DTS Digital Transmission System. The application for this certification was applied by Samsung Electronics Company Limited.

The FCC Certification reveals almost nothing about the product except the model number. It was also reported that the product was being tested with Samsung’s old flagship Galaxy S. It is most likely that Samsung will name it Galaxy Buds X, as the same name is already found in Samsung’s official wearable app.

Currently, it is only expected that Samsung may launch this product in its upcoming UNPACKED event or maybe at another launch event (expected on 22 August).
