Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 with Snapdragon 888 and 12GB RAM appeared on Geekbench

Samsung is most likely to launch the Galaxy Z Flip3 and Z Fold3 next month (August 2021). Both models are already listed on many certification sites with some of their specifications, which indicates that the release is very close.

This morning, the Galaxy Z Flip3 appeared on another Geekbench 5. The Geekbench has revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold3 will use the Snapdragon 888 chipset instead of the Snapdragon 888+.

We already know that the Snapdragon 888 is one of the first Android chipsets with a Cortex-X1 core for outstanding performance.

The Galaxy Z Fold3 comes with a Snapdragon 888 and 12GB of RAM and scores 1124 points for single-core and 3350 points for multi-core. This score is pretty good, and the device’s performance will be pretty good.

Moreover, the Galaxy Z Fold3 runs Android 11 with One UI 3.1.1. It is worth mentioning that this phone has a model number SM-F926U, in which the U represents that this would be the US version.

According to previous information, the Galaxy Z Fold3 would be a bit different if compared with predecessor models. The phone has a triple camera setup in a vertically aligned camera bump on the backside.

It was also revealed that the inner display of the Galaxy Z Fold3 might feature an under-display camera, and the refresh rate of both the inner and outer display will be 120Hz. In addition, the Z Fold3 will support S Pen connectivity, and it might also come out of the box with the phone.

The phone is expected to launch on August 3, and the device’s price might cross $2000 this time.
