3. You must first remove the built-in battery to avoid damaging the laptop when replacing the keyboard.
4. If you want to replace the keyboard yourself, please download the hardware maintenance manual from HP’s official website and follow the steps in the manual.
5. This keyboard is perfectly compatible with your existing palm rest.
6. To replace the keyboard, you have to remove the bottom cover, battery, SSD, Wi-Fi card, heatsink, motherboard, and all components covering the keyboard.
