In our previous post, we mentioned that in the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ press conference, MediaTek confirmed that iQOO will launch the first phone powered by this new processor. Recently, iQOO officially announced that the first phone powered by this new processor will be the iQOO Z1, which is also the first product in the iQOO Z series lineup and will be officially launched on May 19.
On May 12, a Weibo user also leaked the price of this phone. According to the leaks, the iQOO Z1 will be launched at CNY 2498 ($352) for the 6GB+128GB variant. The photo also shows the phone features the Dimensity 1000+ and supports 44W fast charging.
The Dimensity 1000+ chipset supports 5G network connectivity. It also uses 5G UltraSave power-saving technology to provide better battery life. It also has HyperEngine gaming technology to provide a better gaming environment. The chipset also strengthens the display technology and supports the 144Hz high refresh rate.
The phone’s predecessor, the iQOO Neo3 was priced at CNY 2,600 ($366), making it the cheapest Snapdragon 865-powered phone. So it looks like the iQOO Z1 will be a great deal at CNY 2,498.
