There are many reports that Vivo will launch a smartwatch series. But this is now almost confirmed. Recently, on June 9th, we got a 3C certification for an unknown Vivo smartwatch.
In 3C certification, we can see that Vivo Mobile Communication Company Limited applied for certification. The product is a Vivo smartwatch. The upcoming watch has two models, WA2056 and WA2052, and it will use a 5W charger. The 3C certification was issued on 9 June and will expire after 5 years.
The 3C certification confirms that the product’s launch or announcement is very close. In addition, some previous reports have also claimed that Vivo is planning to launch a smartwatch product.
Vivo had already applied to the European Trademark Office (EU IPO) to register the Vivo watch trademark. This suggests that Vivo will launch this product in foreign markets, such as Asian and European markets.
Also, a month ago, a user on Twitter revealed a Vivo smartwatch patent. In the patent, the product will use a circular display with small bezels. There are two buttons on the left side of the watch and some sensors on the back side that could be used to measure heart rate. However, it has not been confirmed if the patent is for an upcoming smartwatch from Vivo.
