Vivo Tablet will feature Snapdragon 870 SoC, 120Hz refresh rate, 44W charging and more

For a long time, it was rumored that Vivo was working on its first-ever tablet, but there has been no official leak or information until now. However, the company’s VP confirmed that the company would unveil the tablet in the first half of 2022, and now it also seems that the launch is very near.

Recently, the well-known Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that the Vivo tablet will not be positioned at the flagship level. It will be a sub-flagship or lower-level tablet.

The blogger also mentioned that the tablet will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset. Since the chipset is almost a year old, the performance of the device seems to be a bit behind.

Using a chipset like the Snapdragon 888 or Dimensity 1200 would have been a better choice. However, the Snapdragon 870 still has a decent performance in multi-tasking.

The tablet also features a 120Hz display with minimal bezels, and the front camera would be placed in the top bezel. It also features a 7860mAh battery and supports a decent 44W quick charging.

Previously, the tablet’s appearance was also revealed through the company’s filed patent. It showed that the tablet would feature the company’s signature camera module design.

It is currently confirmed that the Vivo tablet will be launched before the first half of 2022, and the expected price is around 2K yuan ($315).
