Vivo X Fold2 listed on AnTuTu benchmark with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

This morning, a new Vivo device with model number PD2266 was listed on the AnTuTu benchmark. According to AnTuTu officials, the device belongs to the Vivo X Fold2. The benchmark revealed the device’s performance scores and minimal specifications.

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and has scored a total of 1,318,092 points, including a CPU score of 288,246 points, a GPU (Adreno 740) score of 579,982 points, a MEM score of 256,004 points, and a UX score of 193,860 points.

From the performance point of view, the Vivo X Fold2 has performed similarly to other Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 devices. The chipset is based on TSMC’s new 4nm manufacturing process and features the following cores: 1x Cortex-X3 core, 2x Cortex-A715 cores, Cortex-A710 cores, and 3x Cortex-A510 cores.

The phone has 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. This might be the highest storage option available in this device. The benchmark also mentioned that the device runs on the latest Android 13 OS.

The information regarding the Vivo X Fold2 is very minimal. However, some sources reported that it would feature a 2K resolution inner display that would also support a 120Hz refresh rate. The internal and outer displays will have an ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint scanner.

The vivo X Fold2 is expected to feature a 4800mAh dual-cell battery and support 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The main rear camera on this phone is reported to be Sony’s 50MP IMX866 (with OIS support) in addition to 2x Sony’s 12MP IMX663 sensor for ultra-wide angle and telephoto shots.
