Vivo X60 series to launch on December 29

This morning, Vivo officially announced that the Vivo X60 series will launch on December 29. The company has released the launch date poster on its official Weibo account.

The phone seems to be very camera-focused. The main highlight of the camera is the ultra-stable Micro-head sensor, which is also mentioned in the poster.

As we reported earlier, the Vivo X60 will feature the Exynos 1080 chipset, a 5nm octa-core chip based on the EUV manufacturing process. The chipset has a Cortex-A78 core with a maximum frequency of 2.8GHz. It also has a Mali-G78 GPU.

The high-end version would be named Vivo X60 Pro+. It will be powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset.

The Vivo X60 series is also expected to feature an AMOLED display with curved sides and a 120Hz refresh rate. The X60’s display may have a single punch-hole and a dual punch-hole on the X60 Pro.

A quad-camera module is also being developed in collaboration with Zeiss Optics. The camera module includes a micro-head camera lens, two parallel camera lenses, and a ToF camera.
