Recently, the upcoming Vivo Y20 has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG Certification site. The certification only revealed that the phone would feature Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
Moreover, the certification has a model Vivo V2027; the same model number has been spotted on many other certifications. The certification was applied by vivo Mobile Communication Company Limited and was approved on August 18th.
Moreover, the phone has already appeared on many other certification websites. From those certifications, it is confirmed that the phone will feature the unannounced entry-level Snapdragon 460 chipset.
The Snapdragon 460 is an octa-core processor that has four energy-efficient cores clocked at @1.61GHz and four performance cores clocked at @1.8GHz. The chipset uses Adreno 610 GPU. The new Vivo Y20 will be the first phone to feature this chipset.
For now, it is confirmed that the phone will be available in a 4GB RAM variant, too, like its predecessor (Vivo Y19).
The phone will be an upgraded version of Vivo’s Y19 with better specifications. According to the specifications, the Vivo Y20 will be an entry-level to mid-range category smartphone. The previous model uses MediaTek’s Helio P65 chipset with 5000mAh Battery and 18W fast charging.
Currently, there is no official announcement regarding the phone. The launch is expected very soon as the phone has started to appear on certification sites.
