Vivo Y31s 5G with Snapdragon 690 to launch on December 31

Today, a new smartphone from Vivo has been listed on Chinese Telecom. The smartphone has a model number V2054A and would be named Vivo Y31s, as per the site. The site also reveals the specifications of this smartphone.

According to specs, the Vivo Y31s seems to be a new entry-level device. It uses a 6.58-inch V-shaped notched display with 2408×1080 resolution. It is not mentioned whether the display is OLED or LCD.

The phone measures about 164.15×75.35×8.40 mm and weighs about 185.5g. The sides and back are made of plastic. The phone uses a Qualcomm chipset with the model number SM4350, which is the Snapdragon 690 5G.

The phone uses a dual camera module (13MP+2MP) on the back, while the camera module’s shape is like the Vivo S7. On the front, there would be a single 8MP camera in the notch. The device also has a side fingerprint scanner.

The phone has a 4910mAh battery and supports 18W charging. The Vivo Y31s will come with the V1820B-CN charger, which supports charging in the following modes: 18W and 10W.

The Vivo Y31s 5G is also equipped with a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone Jack. It runs on Android 11, so it is highly likely that it will also come with Origin OS.

The phone will be available in only one storage variant (6GB+128GB), priced at CNY 1798 ($275). It will be launched in three color variations: Ruby Red, Titanium Gray, and Monet. The Vivo Y31s will be launched on December 31.
