This morning, Xiaomi officially announced that the upcoming Xiaomi 12 series will be launched on December 28 at 19:30 at a launch conference.
The officials also mentioned: “The faster and more stable Xiaomi 12 opens a new chapter in 2022 at full speed at a new and stable speed,” which denotes the blessing of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on Xiaomi 12 would take the performance to another level.
The official announcement hadn’t revealed anything more except the launch date. However, according to previous information, the Xiaomi 12 series would have three models: Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12, and Xiaomi 12 Pro.
It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi 12X is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 870 5G chipset, while the other two variants will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which features the Cortex-X2 super core for excellent performance.
The Xiaomi 12 would feature a 4500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. At the same time, the Xiaomi 12 Pro would support a higher 120W super-fast charging with a larger 5000mAh battery.
The officials will reveal more information regarding the upcoming Xiaomi 12 series in the coming days.
