Xiaomi 14 series to launch on October 26

This morning, Xiaomi officially announced that the Xiaomi 14 series will be launched on October 26. Not only that, but the company also announced the upcoming HyperOS and a new lens developed in collaboration with Leica.

As per the announcement, the Xiaomi HyperOS will also debut at this event. For the first time, Xiaomi’s devices will gradually replace MIUI and use a new operating system. This OS is expected to be used not only in smartphones but also in Xiaomi’s EVs.

Finally, the company also mentioned that they have collaborated with Leica to build a next-generation optical system solution with a new professional high-dynamic image sensor for mobile optics.

In the announcement poster, a glimpse of Xiaomi 14 can be seen. It can be judged that it adopts a flat-edge frame, just like the predecessor model.

It is worth noting that both devices in the Xiaomi 14 series will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The chipset is expected to launch at the Qualcomm Summit 2023.

The chipset adopts a new 1+5+2 architecture layout, which includes one Cortex-X4 Ultra-Core at 3.3GHz, three Cortex-A720 P-cores at 3.15GHz, two Cortex-A720 P-cores at 2.96GHz and two Cortex-A520 E-cores at 2.27GHz.
