This February, Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi 5C. The biggest highlight of the phone is that it is powered by Xiaomi’s in-house Surge processor. Today, a Chinese Weibo user has exposed a rendering that is said to be the Xiaomi 6C.
From the leaked rendering, the Xiaomi 6C adopts the glass and metal design on the back, which is similar to the features of the Xiaomi 5C. The phone comes with a parallel dual camera setup on the rear. It adopts the full-screen design but remains the Home button on the front. It is said that the 6C is expected to be powered by Xiaomi’s all-new upgraded 16nm Surge S2 processor, which will bring better performance.
The Xiaomi 5C is powered by octa-core Xiaomi’s in-house Surge S1 and has super narrow 1.66mm bezels. The 3GB+64GB variant is priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately $227). Considering that, the Xiaomi 6C powered by Surge S2 is much likely to be priced starting at CNY 1,699 (approximately $258).
