Xiaomi will bring the new Mi Pad 5 to tomorrow’s event. We already reported that this tablet would be available in different variants. The base model would feature a Snapdragon 860 chipset, while the Snapdragon 870 will power the high-end version.
Recently, a model with M2105K81AC has been listed on Geekbench. As per previous reports, this model belongs to the high-end version of Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi Pad 5. The Geekbench certification has revealed the RAM capacity and chipset of this specific model.
As can be seen, the high-end version of Mi Pad 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 865 series. In addition, it has a maximum 3.2GHz frequency at the Cortex-A78 core. The tablet is also equipped with 6GB of RAM.
The Mi Pad 5 has scored 1,008 points on Single-Core and 3,273 points on Multi-Score in terms of performance. The scores are pretty decent, and we can expect an increase in them, as these scores are of testing models. The performance of the actual model would be more good.
According to previous information, the Mi Pad 5 will feature a full-screen design with narrow bezels. It would be an equal width four-sided design. The body will be made of aluminum alloy.
Furthermore, the Mi Pad 5 will also support external keyboard connectivity with the stylus, bringing an excellent laptop-like experience. Moreover, the Mi Pad 5 will feature a 10.95-inch IPS display with QHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The In-Cell active pen technology will also help the Xiaomi Pad 5 compete with Apple’s iPad models.
All three models will have the same display but different internal specifications. The top model will have 67W charging, while the base model will have 33W charging.
