Today, a suspected prototype drawing of the upcoming Mi Pad 5 was revealed, and its material and functional components were exposed. The tablet has the codename K82, which belongs to Mi Pad 5.
On the display side, the screen’s bezels are very thin and seem improved compared to the Mi Pad 4. There are two holes at the top, one for the front camera and the second for the brightness sensor.
The tablet also comes with a camera module, which is almost identical to the Xiaomi 11 flagship phone. On the left side, there is a dedicated port for connecting a physical keyboard or a protective cover. Apple has long used the same technology to connect an external keyboard to the iPad.
On the right side, we also have a wireless charging port for the stylus marked with nano-injection technology. In addition, both the volume buttons and the power button are placed on the right side.
The tablet has four speakers, two of which are located on the top and the other two on the bottom. There is also a USB Type-C port at the bottom for charging.
As per previous news, it is known that Mi Pad 5 will be available in three versions. One of them is K82 which is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 860 chipset and a 2K resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The latest MIUI 12.5 is expected to be run on this device.
Currently, we have no official information regarding the existence of any new tablet coming from Xiaomi.
