Recently, the Mi MIX2 and the Mi Note 3 have been launched and received great popularity. Now, Xiaomi’s another Redmi series phone has been exposed by a Chinese Weibo.
From the leaked picture, it is the Redmi 5 Plus package box, which has quite similar color options and style that previously launched Redmi series smartphones have featured. The phone is estimated to be the Redmi 5’s high-end variant. It will feature a 5.0-inch touchscreen and come with a higher specification than the Redmi 5’s.
Apart from the Redmi 5 Plus, the Redmi series’ another new product – the Redmi Note 5 has also already been exposed. The Note 5 is said to be built on a better manufacturing process and adopts an all-metal unibody design. It will still come with the fingerprint reader on the back. The phone is supposed to use a similar process that the Redmi Note 5 will use.
Considering the Redmi series products’ high-cost performance, the Redmi 5 Plus is estimated to be priced starting at CNY 899 (approximately $138).
