Yesterday, ZTE made it official that the company is about to launch the ZTE Axon 40 series in the coming days. However, no specifications or appearance of the device was revealed.
This morning, ZTE Mobile officially disclosed the camera specifications of the Axon 40 Ultra. As revealed, the phone will feature a triple camera setup, and all three of them are 64MP lenses but made for different purposes.
The first lens is a customized 64MP super Ultra-Wide angle lens; however, the officials didn’t mention the angle. The second one is also a customized 64MP lens but a custom portrait camera. At last, we have another 64MP lens, a periscopic telephoto lens, but the officials haven’t mentioned its zooming capability. It is worth noting that the camera module is rectangle-shaped.
The officials also haven’t mentioned the front camera and its specs. However, the previous rumors suggest that the Axon 40 Ultra will feature the third-generation under-display camera from ZTE.
The Axon 40 Pro and Axon 40 Ultra Ultra will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The chipset is based on a 4nm manufacturing process and features the Cortex-X2 Super Core, X65 5G modem, and Adreno 730 GPU.
